8 miles.. Beer, Cheezies and Pizza!!! Keiths
Ran 8 miles last night… Decided that I had to stop being lazy and run further than 6, so I did 8. It was a mediocre run at best.. Managed 6.50 miles for the last 2, tried to remain conservative for the other 6, sprinted down a huge hill to finish and was exhausted afterwards!!!!
Stopped at the ole grocery store to purchase some Hawkins Cheezies and a pizza for dinner… Wanted beer but didn’t want to make an extra stop… Munched on the cheezies, ate the pizza, and headed to the girlfriends…
Ended up drinking the beer, had some stored at the girlfriends, and realised how fatigued I was… I feel like I am pushing myself too hard with running and having no real purpose in doing so.
I would like to maintain a long run of around 10-12miles, or more, atleast once a week. I am glad it is Friday, on the verge of the weekend, more drinking a head as Saturday calls for two social gatherings… More Keiths???
