Golf adventures… Deers and Foxes!

Yesterdays exhibition on the golf course reminded me just how awful I am at the game of golf… I enjoyed the whole experience, the weather, the beer, the physical activity but didn’t enjoy reaching the green and having to put. This is my golfing handicap!

I also noticed how golf lessons at 14 didn’t do much in improving my game, mind you, I haven’t been on a golf course since 18.

I am good with a Pitching Wedge… On a little par 3, a person can almost use a pitching wedge and a putter throughout the course. I had too many clubs!

The highlight of the entire experience came on the 8th hole… 3 little red foxes were frolicking around like pups on the fairway. They steal golfers balls driven down the fairway. I wonder if thats a loss of a stroke? Than on the 9th hole, a deer was standing on the green… It was kind of like golfing at the zoo..

It was nice to not have to run in the evening after work. 🙂 I wish I could start running in the mornings instead!

Cheers
