I have checked out of doing all high impact activities like running and I am enjoying the break! I swam a total of 8,000 meters last week… I was […]

Hi! Thanks for stopping by my blog. 🙂 I can totally relate to what you said about the Garmin – my fastest half time was before I bought one, and although my two marathons post-Garmin have gone fairly well, I definitely have a love/hate relationship with the thing. Wishing you lots of luck for your current training cycle – hopefully this marathon will be a huge success!
Thank-you… The Garmin can be an evil. I am looking for redemption
Hi. Thanks for following my blog. I looked around your site and I found out that you are an amazing blogger and also very popular on the web. I was wondering if you could share some tips with me to help me expand my blog a bit. Thank you.

No problem about the comment.. I enjoy reading other peoples blogs… I never did before either (kept track or bloged about running) then I saw other people doing it and decided to give it a shot. I am glad you like my blog 🙂 I enjoy yours also. Tim Hortons is definately my favorite !
BR,
Thanks for commenting on my blog. I was in class and we were just practicing posting and commenting amongst our little network and your comment came in. Great timing. I will contact you via email. Maybe you can enlighten the class about how you ‘stumbled in’ to my site and your impressions and so forth. Thx again. You can visit my social media marketing site at tpmtech.biz/lLAB. You do a great job posting here!!
Hey Tom. I sent a message to the same post I commented on earlier. I received your email also.
Cheers
Hi bearrunner, thanks for leaving the words of encouragement on my blog. Very inspiring.
No problem!! Enjoy your Friday and weekend
cheers
Hi Bearrunner. Love the blog. My wife’s the runner, I’ll pass on the link to her. Thanks for checking out mine. I’m new to this blogging thing. Addictive isn’t it?!
Tom
Np, I like checking out as many sites as possible… Thanks for checking my site out as well.
Cheers
Hello hello! Just wanted to say thank you so much for each and every comment you post on my blog, I absolutely looove reading what you have to say! Isn’t the running community so neat?! And blogging, whewwww baby… blogging sure has turned into a big passion of mine! Glad that we have connected 🙂
I have to admit, I love this site. It is becoming addictive. I love the running communities online… I love the idea of being able to share information also… It is a very good resource! glad i found it 🙂
Hi bearunner, thanks for reading my blog and leaving a positive comment, I really appreciate it. Good luck with your marathon, I will be following your progress!
Thanks… I am already looking forward to it all being finished!
Hope your day is well
cheers
Aww, looks like you are a good blog samaritan! Thanks for the comment. I’m a newbie runner, but loving every minute of it. Have fun in Cuba!
I’ll try… It will be hard with the heat and the drinks but I will give it my all to have a good time!
We were all newbies at one point or another, your not a newbie, you’re a runner!
cheers
Hi- thanks for reading my posts & leaving + comments. I got to read through your blog and I love it. Training in wintery conditions can be harder than the actual marathon itself. I’d be curious to know what training plan your using for your upcoming event. Keep running & blogging! Deana
I don’t use a training plan… I have a general idea as to what I need to accomplish by the end of training and know that I have to run 2 32k’s… At the beginning of the week, I draft the miles I am going to run for the week and run them. I think these training programs and all this science behind running has gotten ridiculous. I know some people need to follow a plan, but my best marathon I have ran to date came on running 4 days a week and not wearing a watch for any of my runs.
Hi
Thank you for your comment on my site! I can’t wait to get to Canada! Planning on going to Toronto. Where are you from? I’m from Scotland.
I see your training for a marathon. I’d love to do one. I did the scotiabank half marathon last year I’ll maybe do the full next year!!
Ash
Originally from Toronto, currently on the East Coast working… I am training for a marathon in May, looking forward to being finished it already!!!
You should train for one, if you can do a half you can do a full
cheers
Hi -thanks for the comments on our blog. It’s good to hear I might actually be able to finish a half even if I only train 3 days per week. I definitely need someone to settle down my ego and force me to hold back without killing myself.
Thanks for stopping by my blog … I appreciate your advice!
Just curious what your thoughts are on the “barely there” running shoes available these days. Still trying to figure out how I feel about my Adidas Adizeroes….
Hi bearrunner!
Thanks for stopping by my new blog! I’m just starting to get the hang of it. 🙂 I love yours! It’s nice to find another running/healthcare/aspiring ironman friend out there. Good luck with your training. I hope to visit Halifax someday!
Best,
Kelly
Hi Bearrunner – love that name! Thank you for visiting my blog – I can only aspire to your aspirations, but it’s great to find like minded people.
Good luck with your goals!
Thank you Bearrunner for the like. My marathon is finishing a novel for my 75th birthday, come March. Wish us both luck.
Thanks for visiting my blog, I’m glad you enjoyed it! I don’t know how you do it, but keep up the running.
did you get the garmin 610 – i am just about to get one. I hated the 405 touch screen so got the suunto T6 but then i missed all the ANT+ benefits …. debating the 610 or 910 ….
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog! You are welcome to stop by again. Good luck with the marathon – people who run them inspire me!
Thanks so much for following and ‘liking’ my blog posts! Before I had health issues, in 2004, I used to run. I ran 7 marathons in 18 months. My goal was to complete 10 so my health forced me to fall short. The marathons I ran were: Seattle (2 times), Portland ( 2 times ), Yakima River Valley ( 1 ), San Diego Rock n Roll ( 1 ) and the San Francisco Chronicle marathon (1 ). I view my marathon runs as one of my greatest personal achievements. My life and how I viewed things was changed after each one; I gained insights into myself I would not have got elsewhere. Keep Running!!
You make me laugh… thanks also for reading my stuff. Who knows, maybe you’ll inspire me to get back to running! Yurbuds… good to know, as I had that same issue.
Hi Bearrunner,
Thank you for stopping by and liking my blog!
I will work out how to get your posts automatically. I like your style:-)
Best wishes
Liz

Hi bearrunner, echoing what everyone else said above, thank you for visiting my rather embryonic blog, still getting the hang of this blogging malarkey even so always good to have a few strangers drop by. Thanks again.
The talk of garmin in the top post, did you do a post about it? I’m just getting to grips with mine and find it quite useful but would be interested to know what others think and the point you were making.
Thank you for dropping by in my newly created blog. Its so nice to see when someone is scanning my blog specially we both share common interest. I have to commend your blog- its really cool and informative. Keep going!
Thanks for following and reading me! I’m on a blog roll these days… posting, posting, posting. Good luck on your training, and enjoy your transition into the tri world. It is fun and highly addictive.

It means a lot when other bloggers (especially the runners) like what I have to say.
Hey thanks for stopping by and the like on my post. Wow your blog is like my runner’s guide bible right now. I haven’t really look for one yet but you came yourself lol. I definitely look forward to reading more about this. I love running and aiming to do 3 miles in 30 mins but now working on 1.5 mile first. Any suggestions would be awesome! Do you do any particular stretches for warm up?
Hey, just wanted to thank you for stopping by my blog. Happy running and stay warm! I’ll try and send some Arizona sun your way. 🙂

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog and subscribing to it. As I am a beginner runner, I am enjoying reading your posts. And I’m thankful I am running in an Oregon winter instead of in the frigid North.
